Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us, to Him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations forever and ever. Amen.

Ephesians 3:20-21 (NASB)

A man in a blue vest speaks into a microphone on a blue-lit stage, gesturing upwards. In front of him, a crowd watches, with some people raising their hands.

This is a spiritual journey.

Beyond is The River Church’s journey with Christ as he calls us to live and give beyond ourselves. No matter where we are in our walk with Christ, He’s always inviting and inspiring each of us to take our next step and do our part in reaching people for Jesus in “Jerusalem, throughout Judea, in Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” (Acts 1:8) Together, we’ll grow in our relationship with God and build our faith as we look beyond to the place where He’s calling us to go.

"The Beyond campaign is a journey designed to impact our region for Christ. This is a God-sized task, but we serve a big God."

Frequently Asked Questions

As a church, we are on a faith journey. We are believing that God wants to do more in us and more through us. In order for The River Church as a whole to do more than it’s presently doing, each individual must go to God and seek direction. If we all seek what God would want for us and obey the leading of the Holy Spirit, we believe God will take our collective obedience and take us abundantly beyond where we could ever imagine.

Construction is set to begin in February 2026. Phase One of the project is anticipated to take 9 months to complete. The River Church will begin meeting for weekend services at the south campus in late fall of 2026.

Your tithe is your obedience to return 10% to the storehouse. The weekly tithes fuel all of the current ministries such as weekly worship services, community outreach and benevolence, missions partners and more. When you give above your 10%, that amount should be designated to BEYOND. All funds given to Beyond will go directly to the project and will determine the speed at which we can achieve all the phases of construction.

We are currently experiencing crowded parking lots and crowded worship spaces for all ages and holding four weekend services. We do not believe that God is finished working in and through The River. We follow the teachings of Jesus to “go and make disciples” and his model to “seek and save the lost.”

The Beyond initiative is for Phase One of the construction project. Total estimated cost is $6 Million for Phase One.

It will take all of us to seek God’s direction and respond in obedience and faith. Each person/family will participate by making a three year faith and financial commitment. We believe God will make a way through our activated faith and our faithful obedience.

The River will seek construction loans and pay the loan through the Beyond fund.

You can begin giving now toward your commitment! Be sure to designate “Beyond” on your online gift or on the offering envelope. When pledges are made, you can let us know that you have already begun your pledge.

We do not yet know the plans the Lord might have for our north campus.

Jesus said that all of heaven rejoices when one lost person comes to know the Lord. He also said that he came not for the healthy, but for the (spiritually) sick. And the Great Commission was His last command to those on earth. We do not believe that was a suggestion, but a call to action to continually “go and make disciples.”

Not all all. Over the history of our church, we have met in various physical locations. Each place provided ministry space for the gathering of people. The building has always been a tool, simply a meeting spot, a designated location for the gathering of people to worship and glorify God. The newly renovated south campus building will be the next tool to utilize and steward for the gathering of God’s people called The River Church.

After renovation, our entire weekend services will be held at the south campus. Ministry capacity will greatly increase. Our current worship center (north campus) seats 550 adults, while the newly renovated worship center (south campus) will seat over 1000 adults. Our current children’s space is about 22,000 square feet to serve infants through 8th graders. The newly renovated River Kids space is 35,000 square feet and it will serve infants through 3rd graders, with an entire additional student ministry space to serve 4th graders through 8th graders. (High school students will also use this space, but meet at a different time). We will have expanded ministry spaces for children and adults with special needs that we do not presently have at the south campus. Phase One of the project also includes increasing the number of restrooms on the south campus to be able to accommodate the number of people in the building during a given service time.
