Pre-registration will be required and is open from March 1-31, 2024. The River Church is excited to welcome new ministry partners the Roseburg Event Center and Compass Ministries.

Check-in time and dismissal will be staggered in an attempt to save time in line. Adult prom attendees can begin arriving for check-in at 4:00pm and students at 4:30pm. Then adults begin dismissal at 7:30 and students at 8:00pm.

Pre-registration before the night of the event is REQUIRED. Space is limited for this event.

There are many ways to "make a difference" on this very special evening, and you can jump in on all the fun and support this amazing event by serving on the Prom Party Dream Team of volunteers.

It’s time!! Time to get signed up for The Prom Party!!

The Prom Party is designed as a free community wide event for individuals aged 14 and older who have intellectual or developmental disabilities.  The River Church is excitedly hosting for our eighth year and welcoming new ministry partners Roseburg Event Center and Compass Ministries for this year. Check out the information below to make sure you or your loved one can make it to the Prom Party 2024! 

How do I sign up for the Prom Party?

Visit The River Church website at http://theriver.cc/thepromparty and click the button for Prom Party Attendee Registration to begin the registration process. 

Is registration required ahead of time or can we register the day of the event?

Pre-registration is required, space is limited. Everyone must pre-register for the event this year.

What do I need to have ready to complete the registration process?

You will need all the important information for the prom attendee such as name, address, medical needs, and any special accommodations needed. You will also need the names and phone numbers of two emergency contact persons in case needed. Finally, you will need to provide the name and phone number of the prom companion who is attending the prom with the registered attendee.  

What time does the Prom Party begin and end on Saturday, April 13?

What is there to look forward to this year for the Prom Party?

A great time of dancing, karaoke, yummy dinner, shoe shine station and hair/make up station at check-in, complimentary flowers for each prom attendee and of course, the Crowning Ceremony where every prom attendee gets a tiara or crown! And who could forget, the take home goody bags for every attendee!
