Luke 18:31-34 (NLT) Taking the twelve disciples aside, Jesus said, “Listen, we’re going up to Jerusalem, where all the predictions of the prophets concerning the Son of Man will come true. He will be handed over to the Romans, and he will be mocked, treated shamefully, and spit upon. They will flog him with a whip and kill him, but on the third day he will rise again.” But they didn’t understand any of this. The significance of his words was hidden from them, and they failed to grasp what he was talking about.

Matthew 26:59-60, 63-64 The chief priests were looking for false evidence against Jesus so they could put Him to death. But they did not find any…Then they said, “Tell us if You are the Christ, the Son of God.” “Yes, it is as you say,” said Jesus.

Revelation 21:5-6 (NLT) “And the one sitting on the throne said, “Look, I am making everything new!” And then he said to me, “Write this down, for what I tell you is trustworthy and true. “And he also said, “It is finished! I am the Alpha and the Omega – the Beginning and the End. To all who are thirsty I will give freely from the springs of the water of life.”
The only thing The Cross killed on Good Friday was the old me!
