Mark 1:17 “Come, follow me,” Jesus said, “and I will send you out to fish for people.”
Acts 1:8 But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”
What we need to hear today… “This is YOUR destiny!”
LIVE the BIBLE don’t just LEARN it.
Luke 5:17-20 Timothy 4:2-5 Preach the word of God. Be prepared, whether the time is favorable or not. Patiently correct, rebuke, and encourage your people with good teaching.
3 For a time is coming when people will no longer listen to sound and wholesome teaching. They will follow their own desires and will look for teachers who will tell them whatever their itching ears want to hear. 4 They will reject the truth and chase after myths.
5 But you should keep a clear mind in every situation. Don’t be afraid of suffering for the Lord. Work at telling others the Good News, and fully carry out the ministry God has given you.
4 Steps in 2nd Timothy
1.) Become Aware
Romans 10:14-15 How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them? 15 And how can anyone preach unless they are sent? As it is written: “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!”
2 Corinthians 5:20 So we are Christ’s ambassadors; God is making his appeal through us. We speak for Christ when we plead, “Come back to God!”
1 Corinthians 3:6 (LB) My work was to plant the seed in your hearts, and Apollos’ work was to water it, but it was God, not we, who made the garden grow in your hearts.

2.) Commit to Prayer
Pray that the Father would draw them to Jesus (John 6:44).
John 6:44 “No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws them, and I will raise them up at the last day.
Pray against the spirit that blinds their minds (2 Corinthians 4:4).
2nd Corinthians 4:4 The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel that displays the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.
Pray that they come to know God relationally (Romans 8:15).
Romans 8:15 The Spirit you received does not make you slaves, so that you live in fear again; rather, the Spirit you received brought about your adoption to sonship.
Pray that believers will cross their paths and enter into positive relationships with them (Matthew 9:38).
Matthew 9:38 Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.”
Pray for a revelation of who Jesus is and what He has done for them (Ephesians 1:17)
Ephesians 1:17 I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit[f] of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better.

3.) Show You Care
1st Corinthians 9:19-23 Though I am free and belong to no one, I have made myself a slave to everyone, to win as many as possible. 20 To the Jews I became like a Jew, to win the Jews. To those under the law I became like one under the law (though I myself am not under the law), so as to win those under the law. 21 To those not having the law I became like one not having the law (though I am not free from God’s law but am under Christ’s law), so as to win those not having the law. 22 To the weak I became weak, to win the weak. I have become all things to all people so that by all possible means I might save some. 23 I do all this for the sake of the gospel, that I may share in its blessings.

4.) Be Ready to Share
1st Peter 3:15 …Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have.
